I have had the privilege of working closely with both people and horses from a young age, gaining rich life experiences along the way. My journey into integrative counselling has allowed me to combine these experiences with a deep understanding of human nature.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. I draw from a range of therapeutic methods to offer the best support possible, in accordance with the BACP ethical framework.
Counselling is a journey of self-discovery, where individuals can uncover the tools they already possess to heal and grow. Each person’s struggles are as unique as they are, shaped by their own experiences, even when shared by others. I believe in seeing the world through my clients' eyes, recognising the person behind the pain. As Irvin Yalom once said, “The aim of therapy is not to solve the problems but to help the patient grow so that they are better equipped to deal with problems in the future.” This approach guides my practice, fostering resilience and understanding.
I offer support for a wide range of conditions, including:
My integrative approach to counselling allows me to tailor therapy to each individual, drawing on a variety of techniques such as animal-assisted therapy, nature-based practices, art, clay work, and sand tray therapy. Whether you are seeking short-term guidance or are in need of longer-term support, I am here to help. Additionally, I offer online therapy for those who prefer the convenience and comfort of remote sessions.
